Protecting your personal data is a matter of great importance to us. This Privacy Policy statement informs you about how your data is stored, processed, and used.

F+U Rhein-Main-Neckar gGmbH collects, processes and uses your personal data solely within the scope of statutory provisions.

Using our websites is generally possible without having to enter personal data. No personal data (such as your name, address, or e-mail addresses) is collected unless voluntarily disclosed by you. No personal data will be disclosed to any third parties without your explicit consent.

Any access to and retrieval of files on our websites will be logged. Storing these data serves internal system-related and statistical purposes.

We will collect the following specific data:

  • Name of the file retrieved
  • Date and time of the retrieval
  • Quantity of data transmitted
  • Notification of successful retrieval
  • Web browser and requesting domain

Additionally, we will log the IP addresses of the computers prompting the requests.

Additional personal data will only be stored if provided by you on a voluntary basis, e. g. when making a request.

Please note that transmitting data over the internet (e.g. in e-mail communication) may be liable to security risks and that it is not possible to fully protect data from being accessed by third parties.

We hereby expressly exclude the use of contact details published in accordance with imprint requirements by third parties for the purpose of sending unrequested advertisements or information. The operators of this website reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising materials, such as spam mails.

Our websites may contain links to third-party websites operated by providers that are not associated with us (external links). The contents of these websites are subject to the liability of the respective providers. There was no evidence of law violations at the time of the linking.

Right to information

According to § 34 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), you are entitled to receive information at any time about the personal data we hold about you, including the origins and recipients of your data as well as the purposes of the data processing. Use of data

Your personal data will only be collected as far as and to the extent you provide them to us with your express authorization. Your data will be used exclusively to answer your queries. We will not disclose your personal data to third parties, and any such disclosure can be made only when expressly consented to by you. In particular, we will not use or disclose your personal data for the purposes of marketing or market research. We collect, process and use data solely for the purpose of answering your enquiries about the educational offers listed on our websites.

Deletion of data

German law prescribes a variety of obligations and deadlines regarding the retention and deletion of data. According to § 35 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), personal data will be deleted routinely after the deadlines outlined in this law have expired.

Revocation of consent

Use of Facebook plugins (like button)

Our websites use plugins of the Facebook social network, operated by Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025, USA (“Facebook”). Use of Google Analytics/Retargeting and Google Adwords

Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics tool offered by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are saved to your computer, thereby enabling the website to analyze how you use it. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website are usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server based in the United States of America. If IP anonymization has been activated on our websites, Google will truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the United States.

Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be truncated after being transmitted to a Google server inside the United States. On behalf of the provider of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services to the website provider relating to the use of the website and the internet. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

Our websites use the online advertisement programme “Google AdWords” as well as conversion tracking. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking will be saved to your computer. This cookie will become void after 30 days and will not be used to identify you. If you visit specific pages on our websites before the cookie has become void, we and Google will be able to tell that you have clicked on the ad and have been forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.

Information collected via conversion-tracking cookies help to generate statistics for AdWords customers. Customers will receive information about the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and have been forwarded to a page equipped with a conversion-tracking tag. However, they will not receive information which would enable them to identify you as a user. If you who do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can easily deactivate the conversion-tracking cookie in the user settings in your browser, so you will not be included in conversion-tracking statistics.
